Spotify wishes to host an event on May 17, 2024 that will be marketed and promoted under the name of “Spotify Artists & Creators Meet” (“Event”), primarily on-ground in Kochi, India, to bring together podcasters, creators and the music industry and engage with them. As part of this Event, we will educate you on how to get the best out of the platform. References in these T&Cs to “Spotify'', “we” or “us” should be taken to relate to Spotify India LLP. this is a free-invite-only event and neither Spotify is paying you to attend it nor is it receiving fees in any manner from you to attend the Event.
to Spotify contacting you in relation to this Event and future events and marketing communications. Your information will be processed in accordance with the Spotify Privacy Policy. Please remember that our invite is just for you! We reserve the right to deny admission and to decline to include any content involving you/ submitted content, if any, in the event for any reason, including due to demand and material or venue limitations, etc. We may record the event and use it later in any media (including on the Spotify service and any third party platform) and for any purpose (including promotional or marketing purposes), which recording may include the name you registered and any content (including any question or comment) you submit/participate during the Event. We may also allow others to use the recording in this way.
you also acknowledge that this Event could be hosted online on a third party website (like Zoom, Googlemeet, etc). Any activity on the third party website shall be governed by such third party's terms and conditions and you consent to these terms irrespective of your forum of participation.
that by registering or participating in the Event, you (including on behalf of your heirs, personal representatives, guardians and assigns) voluntarily and knowingly release, waive and discharge us (including each of our group companies and each of their respective successors, and the directors, officers, employees and assigns of each of the foregoing) and all people and entities involved in the development or execution of the Event and subsequent materials (together the “Released Parties”) from and against any and every kind of claim, demand, liability or cause of action of whatever kind or nature, known or unknown, that the applicant ever had, now has or might in the future have arising in any way from or related to the Event/ materials , including (but not limited to) any incorrect or inaccurate capture of, damage to, or loss of applications or any other human or technical errors of any kind relating to applications, recordings, etc. to or related to the Event.
that blog posts, vlogs, testimonials, social posts, promotions or endorsements made by paid individuals, Influencers or celebrities on behalf of Spotify are subject to the same legal requirements as advertisements in general, including the Federal Trade Commission’s Guides Governing Endorsements, Testimonials (“FTC Endorsement Guidelines''), The Advertising Standards Council of India (“ASCI”), etc. Non-compliance can lead to legal actions, fines, and negative media attention for both Influencer, agency and Spotify. We will generally leave it up to you to decide when and how you would like to post about Spotify, however, if and when you do choose to post then it is important that you disclose that you are a partner of ours and if you’ve received consideration, please ensure you include #SpotifyPartner #workingwithSpotify #ad #gifted, etc. in all of your social content as applicable. We expect you’ll be honest, fair, truthful, not misleading, your opinions truly reflect your beliefs based on your personal experience, respectful and in compliance with applicable laws.
